Georgina Onuoha Slams Blessing CEO For Exploiting Public With Fake Cancer

Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has called for the arrest of relationship consultant Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, following revelations surrounding her controversial breast cancer claims.

The development comes after Blessing CEO, during an interview on the online show Young and Healthy Bros hosted by Egungun, addressed widespread doubts about her health status. She attributed the controversy to miscommunication, explaining that although she had undergone a biopsy, she had not commenced chemotherapy and was still awaiting further tests to determine the stage of the illness.

However, the situation escalated after Blessing CEO reportedly admitted to receiving ₦13 million from members of the public and stated that she had no intention of apologizing or refunding the money.

Reacting via Instagram, Onuoha strongly condemned the development, describing it as disturbing, unacceptable, and far beyond a mere publicity stunt. She argued that soliciting donations under false pretences amounts to serious fraud and emotional manipulation.

The actress also dismissed Blessing CEO’s earlier claim on ARISE TV that the controversy was a “test” to identify genuine love and support, stressing that true affection cannot be measured through deception or financial exploitation.

In her strongly worded statement, Onuoha emphasized that such actions damage public trust and could negatively affect genuine patients battling life-threatening illnesses, as people may become reluctant to offer help in the future.

She further raised concerns over alleged use of a falsified medical report, noting that medical professionals had reportedly denied ownership of the document circulating online—an issue she said points to possible forgery and identity misuse.

Calling for accountability, the actress urged the Nigeria Police Force and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commissionto thoroughly investigate the matter and take necessary legal action if the allegations are confirmed.

“This is not entertainment. This is not social media drama,” she stated, adding that the incident represents a serious breach of public trust and must not go unpunished.

As the controversy continues to trend, Nigerians await official responses from authorities regarding the allegations and possible legal consequences.
