FG begins disbursement of ₦75,000 cash transfer to Nigerians

The Federal Government has begun disbursing ₦75,000 in cash support across three phases to vulnerable households nationwide under the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer programme.

Each beneficiary is expected to receive ₦25,000 monthly for three months, an initiative aimed at easing the impact of the rising cost of living.

So far, over 9 million households have received their first payment, as the government targets a total of 15 million households across Nigeria.

The initiative is designed to provide immediate relief while supporting long-term poverty reduction.
