The exchange rate between the United States Dollar and the Nigerian Naira at the parallel market, popularly known as the black market (Aboki FX), has been revealed for Monday, April 13, 2026.

According to sources from Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in Lagos, the dollar is being sold at ₦1410 and bought at ₦1393 in the black market.

This indicates the ongoing fluctuation in Nigeria’s foreign exchange market, as demand for the dollar continues to put pressure on the naira.

Meanwhile, the official rates from the Central Bank of Nigeria show a lower exchange range compared to the parallel market.

  • Lowest Rate: ₦1354

The apex bank has consistently maintained that it does not recognize the black market and has advised individuals and businesses seeking foreign exchange to transact through authorized financial institutions.

However, despite the warning, many Nigerians still rely on the parallel market due to limited access to forex through official channels.

It is important to note that exchange rates may vary slightly depending on location and volume of transaction.
