President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran, threatening potential military action against critical infrastructure if ongoing diplomatic efforts fail to produce a resolution.

In a statement released via social media on Sunday, Trump disclosed that American negotiators are scheduled to travel to Pakistan on Monday to continue high-level discussions aimed at de-escalating tensions and ending the protracted conflict with Iran. He described the proposal currently on the table as “a reasonable deal,” emphasizing his administration’s willingness to pursue a peaceful outcome.

Despite this, the US leader signaled that Washington is prepared to take decisive action should the talks collapse. Trump warned that failure by Tehran to accept the proposed terms could result in severe consequences, including possible strikes targeting key Iranian infrastructure such as power plants and bridges.

“I am offering Iran a reasonable deal,” Trump stated, adding that rejection of the proposal would prompt the United States to “knock out every single power plant, and every single bridge, in Iran,” underscoring his administration’s readiness to escalate its response.

The warning comes amid renewed accusations from Washington that Tehran has violated an existing two-week ceasefire. According to Trump, Iranian forces allegedly carried out attacks on Saturday in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil transit route.
