A fire broke out at the Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja in the early hours of Thursday, destroying property at the Adidas Sports shop, officials have confirmed.
The incident, which reportedly started around 3 a.m., caused panic among early residents and security operatives stationed near the popular shopping complex.
Although the cause of the fire remains unknown at press time, emergency responders from the Federal Fire Service, FCT Fire Service, and the Julius Berger Fire Department swiftly mobilised to the scene to contain the blaze.
