In celebration of World Photography Day 2024, the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela, was recognized for his exceptional contributions with an Award of Excellence. Represented by Dr. Promise Okolie, Hon. Dr. Mandela was honored as the "Icon of Human Capital Development of Imo Youth" at an event organized by the Imo State Professional Photographers and Videographers Association of Nigeria (ISPPAN). 

The award ceremony, held on Monday, August 19, 2024, at Sky Rose Hotel in Owerri, drew the attendance of notable government dignitaries and distinguished personalities. The recognition underscores the significant efforts and initiatives spearheaded by Hon. Dr. Mandela under the Youth Development Ministry, focusing on strategic growth and empowerment of the youth in Imo State.

As an "Icon of Human Capital Development of Imo Youth," Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela has continued to champion initiatives aligned with the "Prosperity Shared 3R Government" led by Governor Hope Uzodinma. Through various impactful programs, Dr. Mandela's work aims to uplift Imo youths by providing opportunities that drive human capital development, a critical element in eradicating poverty and fostering inclusive societies.
