Afrobeats sensation Omah Lay has officially released his highly anticipated sophomore album titled Clarity of Mind across all major streaming platforms.
The 12-track project delivers a rich blend of Afro-fusion sounds and deeply introspective lyrics, further cementing the singer’s signature style and artistic evolution. Tracks featured on the album include Artificial Happiness, Jah Jah Knows, Canada Breeze, and Don’t Love Me, among others.
The new release signals a significant chapter in Omah Lay’s career, as he delves into themes of self-discovery, personal growth, and emotional healing.
Since bursting onto the music scene in 2020 with hit songs like You and Bad Influence, the artist has built a strong global fanbase, earning recognition for his unique sound and storytelling ability.
In recent developments, Omah Lay also received a Grammy nomination for ‘Best African Music Performance’ for his collaboration with Davido on the track With You.
Speaking on his artistry, the singer expressed strong confidence in his talent, boldly declaring himself Nigeria’s best artiste of the last two decades, placing only Burna Boy on a similar level.
“I’m the best at this. I don’t mean to brag. But I am the best in the last 20 years,” he stated.
“If you bring together all Afrobeats artistes, when it comes to true artistry and making music, I stand alone at the top. The only person I sometimes put on the same level as me is Burna Boy.”
The album is already generating buzz among fans and music lovers, with expectations of chart-topping success in the coming weeks.
