The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released an additional batch of results from the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), bringing the total number of results issued so far to 1,897,692.
This development was confirmed in a statement on Sunday by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin. He explained that the newly released results cover candidates who sat for the examination on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, 2026.
According to Benjamin, 1,264,940 results from the two days are now available for candidates to access. He added that the Board had earlier released 632,752 results from candidates who took the exam on Thursday, April 16.
He reiterated that candidates can check their results by sending “UTMERESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to their registration.
With the latest release, the total number of processed results has climbed to nearly 1.9 million, marking a significant phase in the ongoing 2026 UTME exercise as candidates across the country await their admission outcomes into tertiary institutions.
