A former Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kano State, Comrade Saidu Bello Said, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will face a decisive defeat in the next general elections.

Speaking in an interview, Said expressed confidence that widespread dissatisfaction with the current administration would influence voter behaviour, leading to an early rejection of the APC at the polls.

He stated that many Nigerians are disillusioned with the state of governance and are prepared to make their voices heard through the ballot.

According to him, the outcome of the election could become evident within the early hours of voting, as citizens across the country turn out to vote against the ruling party.

The former spokesman also criticised recent economic policies of the government, particularly the increase in fuel prices, questioning the rationale behind the decision amid prevailing economic conditions.

Commenting on political developments within the ADC in Kano State, including recent defections and realignments, Said noted that the party is taking steps to reposition itself ahead of the 2027 elections.

He urged Nigerians to see the upcoming election as an opportunity to effect change and shape the country’s future through democratic means.
