Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has sparked controversy on social media after engaging with a post linked to the ongoing marital dispute between actress Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

The latest chapter in the Daniels-Nwoko saga unfolded on Wednesday, November 12, when Nwoko’s Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, shared a post alleging that Regina had introduced her to drugs six years ago, almost jeopardising her marriage. Charani also claimed that Regina’s current fight with Nwoko stems from attempts to curb her alleged alcohol and drug use.

Annie Idibia was among social media users who “liked” Charani’s post, a move that drew sharp criticism from fans and observers who recalled Regina’s support for Annie during her separation from her husband, musician 2Baba.

Netizens expressed disappointment, with many accusing Annie of being two-faced or disloyal:
