Atiku Felicitates Kwankwaso at 69, Hails His Dedication to National Development

Former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated the former Kano State governor and national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on his 69th birthday.

In a message shared via his official X handle on Tuesday, Atiku described Kwankwaso as a steadfast patriot and advocate of national development.

“I extend my warmest birthday wishes to my brother, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (@KwankwasoRM), as you turn 69 today.
Your unwavering dedication to public service, education, and national development continues to inspire many across generations,” Atiku wrote.

The former Vice President also prayed for Kwankwaso’s continued good health and vitality, adding that his life and achievements remain a source of inspiration to many Nigerians.

Born on October 21, 1956, Kwankwaso’s political career began in 1992 when he was elected to the House of Representatives, representing Madobi Federal Constituency, where he also served as Deputy Speaker.

He later became Governor of Kano State in 1999 and served as Minister of Defence under President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Kwankwaso was also elected Senator for Kano Central from 2015 to 2019 and contested the 2023 presidential election as the candidate of the NNPP, where he currently serves as national leader.
