Tango Brook Technologies has introduced the Tango Fuel Card, a digital fuel management system designed to give individuals and businesses more transparency, control, and rewards in handling fuel expenses.
In a statement on Tuesday, the company said the service combines physical payment cards accepted nationwide with reporting tools, analytics, and monitoring devices to help households and organisations track usage, curb fraud, and optimise spending.
According to Tango Brook, the system can reduce fuel theft by up to 95 per cent, prevent leaks, block unauthorised purchases, and provide real-time transaction data — including exact fuel volumes per purchase.
Managing Director Obi Wemambu described the product as “a transformative tool” for fuel management.
“With PIN protection, customisable limits and nationwide acceptance, the Tango Fuel Card offers unmatched flexibility, security and convenience,” he said. “Enhanced with built-in rewards, it delivers savings while ensuring total control.”
Chief Operating Officer Dubem Okafor added that the initiative was aimed at reshaping everyday fuelling.
“This isn’t just about payments; it’s about transparency, convenience and value every time people power their journeys,” he said.
The company noted that users could save up to 15 per cent on fuel costs, while loyalty schemes offer up to an 8 per cent bonus on fuel budgets. Businesses can also enforce spending controls by assigning limits to drivers, thereby improving accountability.
To access the service, customers are required to create an account, obtain a digital wallet, and request and activate a fuel card. Once set up, they can fuel, track, and save across the country.
