BREAKING: Court dismisses Nnamdi Kanu’s ‘no case submission’

The Federal High Court in Abuja has rejected the no-case submission filed by the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

In a ruling delivered on Friday, Justice James Omotosho held that the prosecution has established a prima facie caseagainst Kanu, warranting him to enter his defence in the terrorism charges brought by the Federal Government.

Justice Omotosho said it was in Kanu’s best interest to address the issues raised in the case rather than seek a premature discharge.

The court consequently ordered the IPOB leader to open his defence.
