Rooboy has emerged as the new Head of House (HOH) for Week 5 of Big Brother Naija Season 10 after defeating Jason Jae and Kuture in a nerve-wracking challenger game on Monday.

Jason Jae, who claimed the crown on Sunday, was forced to defend his title but lost the contest to Rooboy in a dramatic showdown.

The challenge, which kept housemates and viewers on edge, involved the three contestants—Jason Jae, Kuture, and Rooboy—being blindfolded and asked to retrieve the HOH tag from a box filled with live rabbits and birds. The task left the housemates visibly shaken, with Kuture almost backing out and Jason Jae appearing terrified before Rooboy eventually clinched victory.

As his first move as HOH, Rooboy selected Zita as his house guest, reciprocating her earlier choice when she was Head of House last week.

This week’s competition followed a live eviction show on Sunday night that saw Victory and Gigi Jasmine exit the house. Shortly after, the sack race-themed qualifier challenge was held, further testing the agility and coordination of housemates.
