The exchange rate between the United States Dollar (USD) and the Nigerian Naira (NGN) has continued to fluctuate in the parallel market.
According to reports from Bureau De Change (BDC) operators, also known as Abokis, the dollar is being bought at ₦1,539 and sold at ₦1,556 in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and other parts of the country.
At the official Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) window, the exchange rate stands at ₦1,530.7 per dollar.
The difference between the official and black market rates continues to impact businesses, traders, and individuals who rely heavily on foreign exchange for transactions.
