EMMYNET24 NEWS MEDIA — In a thrilling display of sportsmanship and talent, Imo State Polytechnic (IMO POLY) emerged victorious against Kingsley Ozurumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) with a 3-1 win in the ongoing Pan-Nigerian Youth Governor's Cup. The match, held today at Alvan Pavilion, Alvan Ikoku University of Education, Owerri, showcased the exceptional football skills of the young Imolites.

The Governor's Cup, initiated just a week ago, continues to foster a strong connection between the youth of Imo State and the government under the leadership of the Pan-Nigerian Youth Governor, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodinma CON. The event is part of the broader "Prosperity Shared 3R Government" initiative, with a focus on youth development and talent discovery, spearheaded by the dynamic Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela.

The grassroots efforts and various youth programs initiated by Governor Uzodinma, under the supervision of Hon. Dr. Mandela, have solidified the administration's commitment to empowering the youth of Imo State. The leadership of both the Governor and the Youth Commissioner continues to resonate with the young population, as evidenced by the successful execution of the Governor's Cup.
