Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija winner, Josephina “Phyna” Otabor, has publicly accused Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, and the Dangote Group over a road accident involving one of the company’s trucks, which she claims left her sister critically injured.
In an emotional social media outburst, Phyna alleged that Nigerian police were instructed to remove the plate number from the truck involved. She added that a Dangote Group manager was expected at the police station, but no one from the company had visited her sister in the hospital.
“Na money you get, you no be God… My God is bigger. Enough is enough, una don too chop people, but this time, it won’t be the same,” she wrote.
Phyna vowed not to allow the vehicle or driver to be released until justice is served, accusing the company’s trucks of a history of causing harm without accountability.
At press time, the Dangote Group had not issued a statement. The post has ignited fierce debate online, with many Nigerians demanding transparency and swift action.
