Fast-Rising Anambra Actress Jennifer Ephraim Eyes Top Spot in Nollywood

  Anambra-born actress, model, and beauty queen, Jennifer Chisom Ephraim, has expressed her passion for storytelling and sharing life lessons through acting, a drive she says has fueled her journey in the Nigerian movie industry.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, the 23-year-old screen talent revealed that her entry into Nollywood was a natural progression, having been active in her church drama group and other informal acting circles from childhood. She made her debut at the age of 12 while in secondary school.

Ephraim, who has featured alongside several popular Nollywood stars, aspires to become a “screen goddess” admired by directors and loved by audiences for her ability to interpret roles flawlessly.

The actress, fondly called Queen Jenny, holds a degree in International Relations and French from the University of Adonai, as well as certifications in Human Resource Management, Project Management, and Customer Care Relations. She also recently completed an acting course at the High Definition Film Academy.

Her growing filmography includes titles such as Second WivesLove and DesperationOdogwu Finds a WifeThe WaiterLove in a FixBy My SideThe Good HusbandFinding a Perfect Wife for Dad, and Flames of Love, among others.

Beyond the screen, Jennifer runs the Jennifer Ephraim Foundation, a non-governmental organization focused on empowering underprivileged persons, orphans, and widows. She was recently inducted into The Beauty Queen Hall of Fame in Lagos following her reign as a beauty queen.

“I want to keep growing, learning, and becoming the kind of actress every director dreams to work with,” she said.
