Emmynet24 News— The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) paid a visit to Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela, the newly appointed Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt in Imo State, to congratulate him on his appointment and discuss collaborative efforts for student welfare.

During the visit, NANS National President Comr. Pedro Chibuzo expressed gratitude to Governor Hope Uzodinma for selecting Dr. Mandela, emphasizing his leadership qualities, including an open-door policy and a commitment to economic stability in the state. 

Dr. Mandela, addressing the students, hailed their visit as “historic” and stressed the importance of unity and collaboration among youth in fostering positive change. He called on students to engage in activities that promote national unity and to work together with various stakeholders.

In closing, Comr. Achebe Chizzy, NANS PRO South, delivered a vote of thanks, underscoring the importance of protecting students' rights.

The meeting was attended by various student leaders, including SUG presidents and coordinators from across Nigeria, highlighting the collective commitment to advancing student interests and national development.
