The 2024 Adron Games will take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Ibadan, from November 29-30, marking the city’s second time hosting this prestigious event. Designed to promote physical fitness and community engagement through sports, the Adron Games aims to attract over 10,000 athletes and fitness enthusiasts from across Nigeria.

This year’s theme, “Fit to be the Biggest,” emphasizes the journey toward greatness, encouraging participants to embrace challenges in pursuit of their best selves. The games will feature a variety of sports, including football, basketball, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, snooker, shot put, long jump, e-sports, and the popular tug of war.

Nigerian football legends Daniel Amokachi and Mutiu Adepoju have been named official ambassadors for the event. Both icons will inspire participants and attendees alike with their presence. 

Amokachi highlighted the critical role of corporate sponsorship in nurturing young talent, praising Adron Homes for their commitment to sports development. “Sports in Nigeria need more support from businesses to discover and nurture talent among our youth,” he stated.

Adepoju praised the unifying power of sports and commended Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, Group Managing Director of Adron Homes, for his dedication to organizing the games annually. “Sports is a powerful tool for unity and fitness. His continuous support is vital for the development of sports in Nigeria,” Adepoju remarked.
