The Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt in Imo State, Dr. Emeka Mandela, is set to be honored with the title "EZEDIOHAMMA XXIV" by the Eze in Council (Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo Undergraduate Forum) at Imo State University.
During a meeting with the Committee Members of the 'All IMSU Cultural Day 2024' on September 18, Dr. Mandela emphasized the importance of promoting and sustaining Igbo culture, describing it as a vital force that fosters unity and understanding among the people. He urged the youth to actively contribute to cultural preservation and highlighted the supportive environment created by Governor Hope Uzodinma for the youth's growth and empowerment.
The chairperson of the group, High Chief Egbugoama Godsend, along with other members, praised Dr. Mandela's transformative efforts since taking office. They also extended an invitation for him to attend the upcoming 'All IMSU Cultural Day 2024' on December 6, where the title will be formally conferred.
Chief (Comr.) Augustine Emesirimonye concluded the meeting with a vote of thanks to Dr. Mandela for his commitment to youth development and cultural advocacy.
