Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela Encourages Young Medical Students at 5th International Public Health Symposium
Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela, the Imo State Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, delivered an inspiring message to young medical students at the 5th International Public Health Symposium held at LabRad Conference Centre on September 28. Themed "Healthcare Innovation and Research," the event was organized by the Nigerian Medical Students Association (NiMSA) in collaboration with REGIONS Healthcare, the World Health Organization, and KNCV Nigeria.
Dr. Mandela emphasized the importance of selflessness, courage, and accountability in leadership, urging students to engage in politics. He highlighted that many leaders in the health sector are medical professionals who shape policies that enhance healthcare. "If you embody these qualities, no one can deny you leadership opportunities," he stated.
The symposium aimed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and innovative solutions to pressing public health challenges, attracting numerous healthcare professionals and scholars.
