Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela Attends Book Launch in Imo State

The Hon. Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt in Imo State, Dr. Emeka Mandela, attended the launch of the book Desperate Chase on September 28, 2024, at Assumpta Pastoral Centre in Owerri. The event attracted notable personalities and talented authors from the region.

Represented by his Media Aide, Admin Chukwuebuka Udeagha, Dr. Mandela praised author Olayiwola Abdulqudus Lawal for his inspiring work, which aims to guide young individuals in navigating the challenges of modern society.

Udeagha emphasized the significance of the event, highlighting it as a milestone for the author and a testament to the Ministry's commitment to nurturing literary talent among the youth. He urged attendees to support the  Prosperity Shared 3R Government under Governor Hope Uzodinma, which fosters a conducive environment for writers.

Desperate Chase addresses the societal obsession with quick wealth, encouraging critical reflection on the consequences of such pursuits.

The event featured participation from the Muslim Corpers Association Nigeria, the Association of Nigerian Authors, education CDS Corp members, and Theatre Arts lecturers from Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri, among others.
