Tonto Dikeh Criticizes Instablog Over Reporting on Police Case

Emmynet24— Controversial Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has lashed out at the popular blog instablog for its coverage of her ongoing legal issues with the Nigerian police. The actress, who was recently summoned by the police for alleged offenses including cyberbullying and forgery, expressed her displeasure in a fiery Instagram post.

The dispute arose after Instablog reported on her police case, suggesting that she faced a potential jail term. Dikeh did not hold back in her response, labeling the blog as “useless” and “irrelevant.” She wrote, “Instablog Na your moda pikin and your pikin risk jail term... I wish you this in good faith!! Useless blog, you are just getting a video of what happened 3 days ago??? You are surely not a big deal after all!! I am in my house enjoying the goodness of the Lord.”

Meanwhile, Tonto Dikeh and her bodyguard, Gbenga, have also been summoned by the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Wuse Zone 6 for alleged assault and criminal trespass. According to Gistlover, the court summons, dated August 6, 2024, requires both defendants to appear in court on August 24, 2024.

The complaint was filed by Elvis Abuyere, the Chief Executive of Skyewise Group Limited, who claims that Dikeh failed to complete payments on a Changan Uni-K 2023 model car purchased from his dealership. The situation escalated on July 30 when Dikeh allegedly invaded the dealership premises in Maitama, Abuja, with her bodyguard and two other women, resulting in accusations of criminal trespass and assault.

Dikeh's recent outburst on social media and her legal battles continue to draw public attention as the court date approaches.
