President Bola Tinubu has administered the oath of office to eight newly appointed federal Permanent Secretaries, marking their induction into key administrative roles across various states and regions.


The swearing-in ceremony took place just before the commencement of the ongoing Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House in Abuja. The ceremony was officiated by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.


Among those sworn in were Dr. Emanso Umobong Okop from Akwa-Ibom, Obi Emeka Vitalis from Anambra, Mahmood Fatima from Bauchi, and Danjuma Mohammed Sanusi from Jigawa. Additionally, Olusanya Olubunmi from Ondo, Dr. Keshinro Maryam Ismaila from Zamfara, Akujobi Chinyere Ijeoma representing the South-East, and Isokpunwu Christopher Osaruwanmwen representing the South-South were also sworn in.


The induction of these Permanent Secretaries is part of President Tinubu's effort to strengthen administrative capacity and fill crucial vacancies within federal ministries, ensuring effective governance and representation across Nigeria's diverse regions.
