Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid
Nigerian music superstars Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Rema, Tems, and a host of others have been nominated for this year’s Africa Arts Entertainments Awards (AAEA).
These artists were nominated across various categories in the AAEA, alongside other notable names such as Omah Lay, Yemi Alade, Asake, Tiwa Savage, Simi Kosoko, Majeed, Lojay, Ayra Starr, Kizz Daniel, and several others.
Davido leads the pack with twelve nominations, followed closely by Burna Boy with ten nominations, and Wizkid with seven nominations. The awards aim to recognize and celebrate the achievements of music artists across the African continent.
Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid are set to compete in several key categories, including AAEA Best Continental Male Artiste and AAEA Continental Artiste of the Year.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Kenya on August 17, 2024.
