The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board( JAMB) has released the results of 531 campaigners who wrote the lately conducted Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations( UTME).
This puts the total number of UTME results so far released at. The board’s Public Communication Advisor,Dr. Fabian Benjamin, blazoned this in a statement history in Abuja.
Benjamin said the board had screened over 64,000 withheld results due to cases of examination misconduct.
The statement said
“ In the course of the exercise, other cases of examination misconduct were also established to make a census of 92 from the 81 originally discovered. ”
The JAMB spokesperson said the board was also looking at cases of unverified campaigners and would soon come up with a position.
He added that the attention of the board had been drawn to some fallacious publications purporting that an unknown seeker, who didn't sit for the board’s 2024 UTME, attained scores.
Benjamin described this as “ fake, vicious and a advised attempt to undermine the integrity of the board, ” prompting the public to disregard similar publications. He said the publication, which “ situations such a grievous allegation, has no details of the seeker for proper verification ”.
