The Adamawa State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is in mourning following the passing of Mallam Muhammadu Gidado Bello, the party's Publicity Secretary. Bello, who also served as Chief Press Secretary to a former Deputy Governor in the state, passed away on Thursday, as confirmed by a statement from the office of the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou.

Described as a young Nigerian politician with a vision for nation-building and development, Gidado Bello's sudden demise has come as a shock to many. Governor Fintiri expressed his condolences, highlighting Bello's dedication to the party and his role as an organizer and coordinator. He emphasized Bello's commitment to the PDP and his advocacy for party supremacy, noting that his absence will be keenly felt within the party and beyond.
